Materials Utilized in Sublimation Printed Labels
Our dye-sublimation clothing labels are made from a premium polyester base, similar to our woven labels. This technique enables the display of stunning designs that can't be achieved with thread on a soft fabric label. Different from conventional woven labels, which are created from interlacing threads, we start our process with a plain white polyester ribbon. We then sublimate your design straight onto the polyester base, ensuring a precise replication of your artwork. This method embeds the design permanently into the fabric, guaranteeing that it remains vibrant and resists fading or bleeding as time passes.
Backing Options for Sublimation Printed Labels:
None (Sew-On): The basic option for sublimation printed labels comes without any ad- ditional backing, resulting in a thin fabric label. This option assumes that the label will be sewn onto a garment or product.Iron-On Backing: A favored choice for easy application. Use a heat press or iron to acti- vate the glue on the patch's back, bonding it to your garment. Iron-on patches are not as enduring as sewn ones but can withstand several washes and attach permanently.
Peel & Stick Backing: Great for simplifying the sewing process. Just peel off the paper layer, place the label on the fabric, and sew. It's a time-saver, eliminating the need for double-sided tape. This versatile backing also allows temporary attachment, trans- forming labels into unique fabric stickers.

For intricate designs, especially those with photographic elements or elaborate color mixtures, dye-sublimation clothing labels are the ideal selection. Designs that might struggle to be effectively represented on woven labels can shine on dye-sublimation labels. Unique to this process, the sublimation ink isn't merely printed on the label's surface; it's deeply infused into the fabric of the label. This leads to a durable, color-fast label that resists fading and bleeding in the laundry. Additionally, the design details are precisely printed, ensuring a consistent and accurate portrayal of your brand's image.
Exploring Versions with Sublimation Printed Labels
Customize your sublimation printed with the ability to add versions. A ‘version’ is a minor modification or variation in your artwork. Changes in colors fall under the version category as well as small text changes (ie. personalized names). Please note that any significant changes to the artwork or design, such as changing shapes, or size of the patch, do not fall under ‘versions’ and must be processed as separate orders. We charge a flat fee of $25 for each version change.
