PVC Patch Colors?

Our PVC patch base pricing includes up to two colors. If you wish to add extra colors, we can accommodate up to four colors for a small additional fee. For designs requiring more than four colors, we're happy to provide a custom quote. Additionally, if you know the Pantone color codes you're looking for please provide them. If you're unsure, don't worry! Our team will match your artwork colors to their closest Pantone equivalent and share those values in your digital proof for your approval before production begins.

Our standard production time is 20 business days following your final approval. If you're in a hurry, don't worry! We also offer a 15-business-day rush option. For rush orders, we'll direct your order to a specialized facility focused on expedited production, ensuring that it maintains the same level of quality and standards as our standard production orders. Please note that our rush turnaround service adds 50% to the unit price.

Why PVC Molds Matter?

Molds play a critical role in the production of PVC patches, impacting the pricing of these items. The initial creation of a mold is one of the most cost-intensive parts of manufacturing PVC patches. This is because the mold, typically made of metal, needs to be precisely crafted to match the desired design. Once a mold is created, it can be used repeatedly, making the per-unit cost of patches relatively low for higher quantities. However, any changes to the design require the creation of a new mold, which involves additional costs. Even minor alterations to the design can necessitate a completely new mold, leading to increased expenses.

PVC Patches and Versions

Customize your PVC patch with the ability to add color versions. Since we don't need to create a new mold for color changes, we offer the ability to add different color versions to your order. Unlike some other products, for PVC patches any changes to the text or design cannot quality as a version and must be placed as a separate order since a new mold is required. We charge a flat fee of $25 for each additional PVC color version.

Choosing the right backing for your project can be overwhelming due to the variety of options available. Here's a simplified guide to five popular backing choices:

• - No Backing: Included in our base pricing, this standard option is ideal for patches meant to be sewn onto fabrics.
• - Iron-On Backing: A favored choice for easy application. Use a heat press or iron to activate the glue on the patch's back, bonding it to your garment. Iron-on patches are not as enduring as sewn ones but can withstand several washes and attach permanently.
• - Peel & Stick Backing: Great for simplifying the sewing process. Just peel off the paper layer, place the patch on the fabric, and sew. It's a time-saver, eliminating the need for double-sided tape. This versatile backing also allows temporary attachment, transforming patches into unique embroidered stickers.
• Hook & Loop Backing: Long popular among military, law enforcement, and firefighters, this backing is gaining widespread appeal for its versatility.
• - Hook Side Only: Includes only the hook side (the rough part) securely sewn onto the patch. This ensures a strong attachment without detachment during frequent use. Ideal if you already have the loop side (the soft part).
• - Hook and Loop (Both Sides): Comes with both hook and loop sides. The hook side is securely attached to the patch, and you also receive the loop side, pre-cut to fit the patch. Sew the loop side onto your chosen item, then attach the patch with the hook backing.
