Materials Utilized in Sublimation Printed Labels

Our sublimation printed clothing labels are created using the same premium polyester material used in our woven labels. The dye-sublimation printing process enables the translation of intricate designs onto fabric that can't be achieved with thread. Unlike conventional woven labels, which are created from interlacing threads, we start our process with a plain white polyester ribbon. We then sublimate your design directly onto the polyester base, ensuring a precise replication of your artwork. This process embeds your design permanently into the fabric, guaranteeing a vibrant label that won't bleed in the wash or fade over time.

Backing Options for Sublimation Printed Labels:

None (Sew-On): The basic option for sublimation printed labels comes without any additional backing, resulting in a thin fabric label. This option assumes that the label will be sewn onto a garment or product.

Iron-On Backing: A favored choice for easy application. Use a heat press or home iron to activate the glue, bonding it to your garment permanently.

Peel & Stick Backing: Great for events, swag or to simplify the sewing process. Just peel off the paper layer, place the label on the fabric, and sew. It's a time-saver, eliminating the need for double-sided tape. This versatile backing also allows temporary attachment, trans- forming labels into unique fabric stickers.

Advantages of Sublimation Printed Labels

For intricate designs, especially those with photographic elements or elaborate color mixtures, dye-sublimation clothing labels are the ideal selection. Designs that might struggle to be effectively represented on woven labels can shine on dye-sublimation labels. Unique to this process, the sublimation ink isn't merely printed on the label's surface; it's deeply infused into the fabric of the label. This leads to a durable, color-fast label that resists fading and bleeding in the laundry. Add Size or Color Versions

Customize your sublimation printed with the ability to add versions. A ‘version’ is a minor modification or variation in your artwork. Changes in colors fall under the version category as well as small text changes (ex. personalized names). Please note that any significant changes to the artwork or design, such as changing shapes, or size of the patch, do not fall under ‘versions’ and must be processed as separate orders. We charge a flat fee of $25 for each version change.
